It's a baby blue fiesta!

I couldn't think of any creative names. I suck at creativity but this shall do! So it's been such a hectic week for me, you know the typical - Uni and Work. But anywho, I got many things installed so keep reading! I haven't really blogged since the giveaway I've been holding (if you haven't entered/want to check it out click here

Anywho... Last Thursday I finally bought my iPad (the new one). I literally searched everywhere (online/called stores) in the South-Western Sydney area - they were either sold out or only had the wifi + 4g iPads, which I didn't want to get.

I was tossing around getting the iPad2 or the iPad3 and 16gb or 32gb. I came to the conclusion that I wanted the new one with 32gbs (in White) only for the purpose of watching movies, viewing lecture notes on the go (especially the bus rides to Uni) and also the convenience of having my textbooks in pdf form and not being able to carry heavy books AND saving money on purchasing them hardcopy. Even though I can do the same thing on my netbook, I found that my iPad was way more lighter than my netbook and it was a huge want for me (insert reasons why I 'needed' the iPad here) LOL. I promised to pay my dad back (since I asked him to pay for me) when I get my tax return so I'm happy! The fact that I'm such a traditionalist (lol) who likes studying and having a physical book to look at - I would like to use my iPad as an easier alternative and also take the weight off my shoulders since I have a slight back condition.

Besides the iPad, below is all the things I recently bought/received excluding my iPhone, I just wanted to take a photo of all the things I have which is in baby blue! MY FAVOURITE COLOUR hehehe. Look at the amount of blue there!

Notice how my wallpaper on my iPad is also blue and also it's The Temper Trap! My favourite band! Hehehe. Yes I'm baby blue obsessed!

As you can see I have April's Lust Have It goodies (it arrived late because there was a error or something with my subscription) and... my Sigma brushes! I bought the Mrs Bunny Travel Kit and also 2 Sigmax Kabuki Brushes. I was also gifted a Eyeliner Brush (in Pink pictured below) and I absolutely love each and every brush! They're worth the hype and also very good quality! So I'll talk about them first!

(Taken from the Sigma Beauty Website)

The Mrs. Bunny Travel Kit was specially designed to deliver the perfect makeup application. This collection utilizes Sigmax HD fibers, to guarantee perfect product placement without absorption into the bristles. This kit contains all the essential brushes needed for a flawless look on-the-go. The brush come in an innovative and functional container that turns into two brush holders! The Synthetic Sigmax Duo contains two of the best-selling brushes with classic black matte handles. The brushes in this collection feature the exclusive Sigmax filament, which allows for flawless makeup application without absorption into the fibers. The F82 is soft, dense and round for seamless blending of mineral products onto the skin. The F84 is soft, dense and angled for easy buffing of blush or bronzer onto the skin.

The Sigma brushes costed me $95~ including shipping. The Mrs Bunny brush kit costed me $59 and the Sigmax Brushes costed me $24 and shipping was around $21? I think it was. And I used a 10% off Coupon Code (I think it was APRIL2012) and it went down to $95 so yeah! Love love love them do death - I've been eyeing them for so long and finally got around to buying them!

The next thing I got was April's Lust Have It box in which I received today! I love the fact that this months box came with a make up bag (which is really useful and... in my favourite colour! - Huge bonus for me!)

Considering this is my first time subscribing to Lust Have It, I'm super impressed with the products I received. After my huge disappointment with March's Glossybox, Lust Have It is on my so-called 'must subscribe beauty box list'. I hope May's Lust Have It box is just as good as April's considering that I heard Glossybox went broke and now Lust Have It has taken over / joined with Glossybox. I hope their beauty boxes do not disappoint as I will be eager to unsubscribe if I receive crappy/non-useful items - especially after my huge disappointment (which I cannot stress enough) about my March Glossybox.

But getting down to what was in April's Lust Have It box. The following descriptions have been taken from the Lust Have It website. The contents of this box includes over $70 worth of Value and we have...

1. I Nuovi Glitteratti 2.5g/$19.95

This Autumn makeup is going metallic. As our Facebook fans loved our shots of eyes, lips and nails with glitter highlights, we have included a full size Glitteratti, sparkling cosmetic glitter, from Italian professional brand I Nuovi to help you create some on-trend looks of your own.

2. emerginC Product Samples

Kombucha Cleanser. 120ml/$44.00 Phytocell Detox Mask. 50ml/$65.00 Phytocell Moisturiser. 50ml/$105.00

We are huge fans of emerginC’s pure, potent cosmeceuticals. Used by dermatologists and top spa’s worldwide, their products use natural botanicals and cutting edge cosmeceutical-grade ingredients but are free from nasty chemicals.  The trio of skin treatment samples we’ve included offer unparalleled results after only a single treatment.   The deep cleanser removes environmental pollutants. The French green-clay mask draws out impurities. And the grape stem-cell based moisturiser revitalises and renews skin.

3. De Lorenzo Elements Ocean Mist Sea Salt Styling Spray. 195ml/$23.95

With summer behind us, we have brought you a way to keep having beach inspired hair!  De Lorenzo Elements Ocean Mist Sea Salt Styling Spray delivers the feel and texture of having just walked off the beach. We love how it gives definition to curls and layers but still leaves hair with natural movement.

4.True Solutions All Day Tinted Moisturising Cream SPF 30+. 100ml/$60

This month we’ve also included a must have for every woman.  From True Solutions, a professional brand used by Medispas and beauty clinics, comes All Day Tinted Moisturiser with SPF30+. We love its 3 benefits: intensive moisturising, tinted coverage and strong protection from environmental ageing.  Genius.

5. Spa Fresh Blends Romantic Discovery. 250ml/$15.95

We all need a little me-time, so be sure this month to light a candle and indulge yourself in Spa Fresh Blends Romantic Discovery.  With minerals, proteins, essential oils and the fresh scent of roses, this indulgent blend will not only relax your mind, but also leave your skin feeling luxuriously soft.

Here pictured is all the items I received - I was so keen to use the Spa Fresh Blends that I actually took a bath today and it wasn't so mind blowing as Lush Bath Bomb (in which I was hoping it would look like) but I like the product. I wouldn't repurchase it because I'm not the person who regularly takes baths. (I couldn't think less of everyone thinking I'm a filthy person LOL - I just take showers okay!?)

Anywho, I was happy to try out the DeLorenzo Elements Ocean Mist Sea Salt Styling Spray. I actually really like it! It will definitely keep my hair in place when I go to work tomorrow and also give it a bit of definition I suppose.

I haven't tried the I Nuovi Glitteratti Cosmetic Glitter (in Nude Glamour). It's a white cosmetic glitter that I received and most likely I'll use it for Nail Art or something.

The True Solutions All Day Tinted Moisturiser is super cute - I'm defintely going to carry that with me in my bag and I can't wait to try it! As well as the mini samples from emerginC which claims to be organic and 'defined in nature, refined by science'. So that's intriguing!

Anywho, this has been such a long post and I hope you enjoyed this super super long post and I will be back soon! I have my End of Semester exams creeping up so wish me luck!

Love, J.
